Welcome to the Kent ISD Transition Resource Page
All students leave school to create their adult lives
|
Transition is the process of planning and preparing for a student with a disability to progress from school to adult-life roles. A successful transition process is based on the student’s strengths and their desired future goals. This process begins by age 16 and requires collaboration between the school district, student, family and community agencies.
